Taiwanese coffee, with historical ties to Hokkaido dating back to the era of Sapporo Agricultural College (the predecessor of Hokkaido University), continues to build a meaningful connection in the region. This marked our third year participating in Hokkaido.
Led by Professor Lin from the Taiwan Coffee Laboratory, we presented a curated selection of coffees and teas from 10 distinguished farms, including Royal Bean Geisha, Senyue Gaofeng, Nioumojiao Estate, Taiwanese Geisha chocolate, drip bags from five farms, and products from Nita Coffee, such as coffee leaf tea and cascara tea.
In our third year, many visitors returned after trying Taiwanese coffee in previous years, sharing that they came back because they enjoyed it. This reaffirmed both the quality of Taiwanese coffee and the value of continued engagement.
With direct flight from New Chitose Airport, Taiwan offers coffees shaped by a rich tea heritage—delicate, complex, aromatic, and long-lasting in finish—alongside a culture of sharing and enjoying coffee together.
We hope more people can experience and feel connected to the unique world of Taiwanese coffee.
