This event marks its eighth edition. This time, Taiwan Coffee was the only international exhibitor!
It was quite moving to visit a place that played a significant role in the coffee development in Taiwan 100 years ago, where Sapporo Agricultural College and Hokkaido Imperial University (the predecessor of Hokkaido University) once stood.
The first day saw numerous media coverage.
The roasted beans SL34 Natural from Xiang Xiang Jiu Yi Estate Typica (roasted by Mr. Nakamura from Mame Polepole), Taiwanese chocolates, Tieguanyin tea chocolates, Taiwanese lychee jam, Taiwanese red guava jam, and Oolong coffee tea were all sold out.
It was an intense six days.
Even though there were some rainy days, many people visited, reflecting the high coffee consumption among the people in Hokkaido.
We are truly grateful to everyone at Marui Imai, Mr. Goto from Marumi Coffee, and the staff for their tremendous support.
